The Snowdrops appeared first, right before our week of really warm weather.
I’m not sure what the other white and purple flowers are, but the purple ones
keep popping up in new places!!
The lilac leaves have also started opening, and I can’t wait for them to bloom –
we have lilac bushes everywhere in the yard.

Jet trail through the branches.
A gorgeous quilt my sister made me.
“Punkin’” enjoying the warm weather and taking my phone apart.

My goal is to share a new post every week. We’ll see how that goes.
In the meantime, a few pictures from the months (how time does fly!!) I was away.

From December...

We had very little snow this year. Less than two feet, cumulative.
The wind is crazy up here in the winter, which is one reason we didn’t
have much snow actually stick.

From January...

We woke up one morning, and everything was coated in ice from rain and
freezing wind the night before. It was beautiful!!

The first potted plant on our new home.
One day “Punkin’” will learn how to properly use a camera.
Snuggled on the couch, reading a book.

Frosty old, double-pane windows in the morning.
A nice afternoon for a drive into town, past a little church.
Homemade, vegan, honey-sweetened caramel corn in the evening.

From February...

Melting snow.
“Punkin’” loved watching the melting snow on the roof drop into the puddles below.
